I met up with Jon Myers, Head of Search for MediaVest, at a recent Online Marketing Show in London. Jon has been involved in Search for almost 10 years and and has seen the industry grow dramatically during that time.

I chatted to Jon about his background and current role ( he runs a team of twenty three search people!) plus I also asked him to offer some advice for people considering a job or career move into the search engine industry. When you look at the majority of job sites the largest percentage of advertisers are Recruitment Consultancies.

However, some job seekers have never used a Recruitment Consultancy before and are unsure about the process and how to maximise their chances of success.

I recently interviewed Lucy Simpson, Manager of Digital Media at Major Players, a London based Digital Recruitment Agency.
